Los Gigantes

Los Gigantes is a small but stunning seaside resort on west coast of  Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Dominating the seascape are the Acantilados de Los Gigantes, the thousand foot high cliffs – ‘The Giants” – after which the town is named.

Nearby to the south are the resorts of Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena. 3 km to the North is the village of Masca  – reputed to be the most beautiful place on Earth – which can be reached by boat or car.

The town has a marina, two lidos, a dive school, and a black sand beach.

Each year, in February, there is a spectacular carnival which parades through the village. For more information on Los Gigantes, the losgigantes.com website and forum is very useful.

Hotel Los Gigantes | A landmark. Close to shops and amenities. Great sea views from rooms on that side.

Los Gigantes Diving Centre | A PADI 5 star Centre and BSAC school. Offers scuba diving and diving courses for all.
